Google Increases Local Guides For Google Maps

Google said that it is increasing its Local Guides platform aimed at Google Maps.

The platform lets users sign up and contribute to Google Maps everywhere they go to receive early access to new Google products, exclusive events & contests, plus bonus Drive storage along with other prizes.

Contributors can receive points by adding new places, uploading photos, answering questions, fixing outdated info, and writing reviews. Each contribution is means a point, Google gives you the capability to earn up to 5 points a place.

The new Contributions tab is included in the last Google Maps update for Android & iOS. If you’ve signed up for the program, you can view your level, points, and your to-do list.
